DP(A) delivered an innovative concept design for the AARC. A state-of-the-art facility located in Alkimos Town Centre, serving the local and broarder community residing in the northern growth corridor of WA. Inspired by the historic Alkimos Shipwreck, the AARC's design features timber columns arranged sequentially along the facade, creating a visually striking contrast with the concrete structure and harmonizing the building with its natural landscape. The envisioned AARC is to offer a diverse range of facilities, including aquatic spaces, sports amenities, comprehensive health and fitness suites, versatile function and activity areas and thoughtfully landscaped surroundings.
